A while ago a young business owner asked me what I had learned from working with so many successful business leaders. Were they different in any way?
It didn’t take me long to reply: “The most successful business leaders are most true to themselves, play to their strengths and manage to neutralise their weaknesses. Oh and they are ruthless with their time.”
When you are at your best, then you can brush aside the weaknesses that can bog you down. Many of us have a hazy, vague idea of the impact of our strengths, but a very high awareness of where we fail. Even successful leaders can spend too much time worrying about the impact of their weaknesses.
So I developed At My Best, a combination of one to one consulting and workshops which provides the morale boost and guidance to stay at your best. This is a stimulating process that helps you isolate and settle on your strengths before considering the actions which will maximise them – the activities that most contribute to the successful running and developing of the business.
It is a programme that applies for all levels of management in the business. Are they working at their best as leaders and managers? This programme will enable them to work at a much higher level and to sustain it.
To get you there I use a combination of self assessment, personal reflection, psychological profiling, strengths finder and 360 degree feedback and time/priorities review. In a few short weeks you will have a very clear picture of what At My Best means for you.
Getting there is half the battle. Staying there is the other half!
